Dr. Sabrina Sanchez, along with residents and medical students, organized a system to distribute encouraging words from members of the community to patients affected by Covid-19 in the hospital. SRS hosts gun violence prevention roundtable
As part of its series of health equity roundtables, SRS hosted a discussion on gun violence prevention and safety. Lisa Allee, Director of the Community Violence Response Team, discussed gun violence disparities, the role of the CVRT in our patient population and community, and the importance of intervention programs in reducing gun violence recidivism. Dr. Dechert and Dr. Poulson served on a panel discussion.
